Member Networks Administrator

MEMBER NETWORKS ADMINISTRATOR - LEICESTER (ONE YEAR FTC)

We are looking for a highly organised administrator with exceptional IT skills to provide maternity cover for a one year fixed term contract.

Strong operational data capture skills using databases, and Microsoft Office software is essential!

There will be occasions where it will be necessary to attend events and conferences, which may involve an overnight stay.

You should have at least 2 years experience of the following duties and ideally be educated to degree level.

Duties include:
Requesting, analysing and formatting data
Arranging production and distribution of newsletters, guidance documents, agenda papers, publications etc.
Updating databases, running reports
Responding to email/telephone enquiries
Attendance at meetings including minute taking
Administration for Annual General Meetings including print co-ordination and keeping relevant parties informed on processes
Booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments
Coordinate travel and accommodation when required.
Diary management (including electronic diaries)
Editing and updating the website
Attending events and conferences

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Experienced administrator (at least 2 years high level administration)
High level of literacy and numeracy
An ability to assimilate complex information quickly
Experienced user and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong operational data capture skills using databases and word processing applications (membership/customer services environment an advantage)
Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach
Can work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
Strong commitment to team-working
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative, time manage effectively and prioritise tasks
A commitment to provide excellent customer service via telephone, email and face-to-face.
Analytical and logical thinker
Experience of minute taking
ICT super user and self-starter

We are looking for someone who can use their initiative to undertake the tasks above, who will provide excellent customer service and who has previous experience working in a busy office environment. Experience of working in a HE sector usually an advantage.

Contracted hours: 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with 1hr for lunch)
Length of contract: 12 months
Salary: £8.00 to £12.04 an hour
Interviews to be held on: ASAP in November 2017
Start date: ASAP after interviews
