Sales Estimator and Processing Officer

We are looking for a highly efficient Estimator and Processing Officer with exceptional IT and customer service skills to provide support to a busy contracting office in the Leicestershire area. Strong operational data capture skills using databases, and Microsoft Office software is essential!

You should have at least 2 years experience of the following duties as an estimator and ideally be educated to degree level.

Duties include:
Responding to email/telephone enquiries and preparing quotations
Making sure all quotations are cost effective and meet clients specifications
Liaising with sales teams and other personnel.
Placing orders and supporting clients, suppliers and internal teams through to completion
Utilising previous experience in estimating using in-depth knowledge of various materials and production processes
Assimilating complex information quickly and accurately

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
High level of literacy and numeracy
Experienced user and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Able to quickly learn and utilise specific estimating and production software (experience of estimating within a manufacturing business an advantage)
Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach
Strong commitment to team-working
Can work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work independently on own initiative, time manage effectively and prioritise tasks
Self-starter with excellent organisational skills
A commitment to provide excellent customer service via telephone and email

We are looking for someone who can use their initiative to undertake the tasks above, who will provide excellent customer service and who has previous experience of working in a busy office environment.

Length of contract: Permanent
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum according to experience
Contracted hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.30pm
Interviews to be held: ASAP
Start date: ASAP after interviews
